About the role

We are seeking a Technical Services Consultant to join our team. In this role, you'll play a key part in providing professional services to our clients in the form of upgrades, server migrations, and new client deployments. You'll thrive if you enjoy software deployments, configurations, technical investigations and troubleshooting, databases, and working cross-functionally to deliver results for customers.

As our newest Technical Services Consultant, you'll:

• Undertake client server migrations, upgrades and deployments.
• Monitor, investigate, and respond to application alerts and notifications.
• Management and resolution of escalated support tickets within defined OLA and SLA requirements.
• Responsible for the creation and maintenance of team knowledge, processes, procedures, and operational documentation.
• Troubleshooting, management and resolution of scripted automation tasks
• Build strong relationships with our clients, team, and internal stakeholders.
• Identify and make recommendations on areas of improvement and participate in continual improvement initiatives.
• Proactively escalate and raise issues concerning our products, with the relevant product teams.
• Adherence to company policies and procedures, including change management.
• Contribute to the achievement of SOC2 certifications for our software products
• Participation in an on-call roster.

What You'll Bring

We're looking for someone who has:

• Tertiary or industry qualification in Information Technology (or equivalent).
• Industry certification on Microsoft platforms.
• AWS or relevant cloud certifications
• 2 years of industry experience as an application support specialist, or similar.

You must also have:

• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Aptitude to learn new skills quickly.
• Working knowledge & skills in Windows Server, MS SQL Server, and IIS.
• Working knowledge of AWS services.
• Ability to interpret and write scripts, preferably PowerShell.
