About the role
Our friendly and talented Corporate and Commercial team has an opening for an Associate Lawyer with drive and the capacity to succeed.
Having been recognised for the last 3 years running as a finalist for Commercial Team of the Year in the Lawyers Weekly, Australian Law Awards, this is a chance to work with our outstanding Corporate and Commercial team.
While this role is based in our Sydney CBD office, at Bartier Perry we all have the opportunity to work flexibly and remotely.
We are looking for a lawyer with 3 + years PQE of broad Corporate and Commercial experience to join this driven team led by highly respected and involved partners.

The ideal candidate will possess:
• Approximately 3 – 4 years PQE
• Broad commercial experience including preparing terms of trade, shareholder deeds, assisting with sale and purchase of business transaction documents, and, in a keen interest in corporate advisory and restructuring
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail
• Strong academic results
• Strong legal technical skills
• The ability to prioritise tasks and manage workflow
• An interest in learning about our clients and their business.
