Are you a dedicated customer service professional with a passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences? We have an exciting opportunity for a Guest Services Manager to join our team at The Ville Resort-Casino / Ardo Hotel in Townsville QLD.

THE ROLE

In this full-time role as a Guest Services Manager, you will provide operational support to the Front Office Manager by leading and managing a team of front office professionals ensuring friendly and efficient service to our guests. The Guest Services Manager will be responsible for helping to manage daily front desk operations, training and development of staff, resolving guest inquiries and issues and coordinating with other departments to ensure a smooth and memorable stay for everyone.

Rising from the edge of the Great Barrier Reef, The Ville Resort-Casino is North Queensland's premier destination for dining, entertainment and leisure, combining casual sophistication with the vibrant, playful spirit of modern Australia. The precinct also includes our five-star luxury hotel Ardo and Townsville Entertainment & Convention Centre (TECC).

ABOUT YOU

To be successful in this role you will ideally:

• Have relevant tertiary qualifications and demonstrated experience in a supervisory or managerial role within the hospitality industry, preferably in front office operations.
• Be available and capable of working days, nights, weekends and public holidays.
• Demonstrate proficiency in hotel property management systems (Opera Cloud is preferred) and other relevant software applications.
• Display strong leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate and develop a team.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle guest interactions with professionalism and tact.
• Have high attention to detail and a strong commitment to ensuring the best hotel services for guests at all times.
• Have strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities and exceptional organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multi-task, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
