With a strong foundation in HR or L&D coordination, you bring experience in managing logistics, systems, and stakeholder communications to ensure smooth delivery of learning programs. Your strengths lie in coordinating multiple moving parts—whether it's scheduling regional training, onboarding suppliers, or maintaining accurate learning records in platforms like SuccessFactors. You are confident navigating digital systems, managing financial workflows, and supporting service desk operations, all while ensuring compliance with organisational policies and procedures.
You are a natural communicator who enjoys working with Capability Managers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to translate business needs into practical learning solutions. Your ability to maintain documentation, improve processes, and support strategic capability initiatives makes you a key contributor to the success of the L&D function.
About the role
The Learning and Development Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the delivery of regional capability development across the organisation. This position is responsible for coordinating learning programs, managing systems and records, and ensuring smooth operational support for internal and external stakeholders.
Working closely with Capability Managers, the Coordinator helps translate strategic business needs into practical learning solutions that build workforce capability. The role involves scheduling training, onboarding suppliers, processing invoices, maintaining digital platforms, and ensuring compliance with organisational policies.
With a strong focus on accuracy, service delivery, and continuous improvement, the Coordinator contributes to a positive learner experience and supports the organisation's commitment to quality, collaboration, and performance.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Coordinate Regional Capability Programs: Schedule and organise learning activities across sites and teams, manage logistics and communications, and maintain calendars, bookings, and attendance records.
- Support Supplier Management: Assist with onboarding new learning providers, track documentation and compliance, and liaise with vendors to confirm delivery details and resolve issues.
- Manage Invoicing and Payments: Process supplier invoices, ensure timely approvals and accurate coding, and maintain financial records for audit and reporting purposes.
- Maintain Learning Records and Systems: Update SuccessFactors (LMS and Competency Management System), ensure data accuracy for reporting, and file or archive learning materials and evaluations.
To be successful you will bring:
Essential
- Australian Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain Commonwealth Security Clearance.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Organisational Development, Education, Business Administration, or a related discipline
Desirable
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122)
- Qualifications or micro-credentials in project coordination, digital systems (e.g., SuccessFactors), or data reporting
- Exposure to compliance frameworks, procurement, or financial administration
