About ECD:
East Coast Diesels (ECD) is a leading heavy diesel workshop, servicing the Sunshine Coast, Brisbane, and surrounding regions, specialising in heavy commercial vehicles, earthmoving, civil, agricultural, and diesel equipment. With a reputation for reliability, precision, and customer-first service, we specialise in:
  • Fleet management
  • Fixed plant maintenance
  • Servicing, repairs, and diagnostics for heavy commercial vehicles
  • Earthmoving, civil, agricultural, and associated diesel equipment
  • And we are an authorised inspection station – COI, HVRAS, and inspections

Our workshop in Maroochydore is the heart of our operations, backed by a mobile service fleet that delivers expert support on-site. The Role:
  • Workshop & field servicing.
  • Accurate records & timely job completion.
  • Safe practices & team collaboration.
  • Career growth & skill development.
  • Maintain, diagnose, and repair a wide range of diesel equipment.
  • Provide efficient field service to minimise downtime and boost client productivity.
  • Support junior technicians through mentoring and skill development.

Essential Work Skills and Attributes:
  • Current Driver's license (HR Preferred).
  • High attention to detail and pride in producing quality workmanship.
  • Professional appearance, conduct, and work environment.
  • Ability to think creatively and identify new business opportunities.
  • Desire for success and commitment to going the extra mile.
  • Enthusiasm and a sense of humour.
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for complex mechanical issues.
  • Additional certifications such as forklift licence or working at heights would be advantageous.
