Support Worker

Marson HealthCare Service Pty Ltd is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in Belmont WA 6104. As a part-time Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing personalised care and support to our elderly and disabled clients, enabling them to live independently and with dignity in their own homes.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting clients with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping
• Providing companionship and engaging clients in recreational activities to improve their overall wellbeing
• Administering medication as prescribed and monitoring clients' health and safety
• Collaborating with the broader care team to ensure seamless service delivery and coordinate client-centric care plans
• Maintaining detailed client records and documentation in accordance with industry standards
• Adhering to all company policies, procedures, and safety protocols to ensure the highest quality of care

What we're looking for

• A Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification in Aged Care or Disability Support
• Demonstrated experience in providing personalized care and support to elderly or disabled clients
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills to handle challenging situations with empathy and care
• A genuine passion for making a positive difference in the lives of others and a commitment to upholding the company's values
• A current driver's license and reliable transportation to access client homes
