We are seeking a passionate and experienced Disability Support Worker to join our team in Belmont. This will involve providing high-quality support and assistance to individuals with disabilities in the Community and Supported Independent Living.

(SIL) environment and community-based supports.

**What will you be doing**:
Community Access and increased daily independence

Providing personal care and support with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation

Assisting with medication management and the monitoring of health and well-being

Encouragement and support to develop independent living skills and participation in community activities

Maintaining clear and accurate records of progress and support provided

Collaborating with the wider support team to ensure coordinated and holistic support

Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures and legislative requirements.

**What we are looking for**:
A relevant disability qualification, such as Certificate 3 or 4 in Individual Support

Previous experience in a similar disability role

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with service users, their families and colleagues

A compassionate and patient approach, with a strong commitment to empowering and enablement

The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team

ANDIS worker clearance

A current first aid certificate

Pay: $30.00 - $34.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 30 per week
