About the Role

We are seeking Lifestyle Support Workers to provide support in multiple locations across Brisbane Southside -Moreton Bay Region.

An average day or week includes:

  • Rotating roster (mornings, days, evenings, overnight)
  • Getting out and about with tenants
  • Providing personal care support
  • Assisting with medication
  • Providing support with daily living (meals, household cleaning, laundry, shopping)
  • Behaviour support
  • Attending appointments with tenants
  • Completing case notes and other relevant documentation at the end of each shift

About You

You are ideal for this role if you:

  • Have an awareness of issues faced by people who experience disability
  • Can think and act calmly and deal sensitively with people in distress
  • Can work as part of a strong team with individuals and other community services
  • Have availability across mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends and public holidays
  • Possess a Level 1 First Aid and CPR Certificates (or the willingness to obtain)
  • Have a satisfactory Yellow Card or an ability to obtain an NDIS Worker Screening Check
