McArthur Community Care is a Registered NDIS Provider in Queensland. We specialise in delivering individualised and flexible supports through a holistic and person-centred approach to maintain independence and social connection with the community. We are seeking a Reliable, Motivated and Professional Support Worker for our participant in the Nudgee, Chermside, Bellmere and Caboolture area.

As a Disability Support Worker and respected ambassador of McArthur you will be required to assist people with:

  • Personal care: showering, dressing, grooming
  • Household tasks: domestic assistance, cleaning and laundry, and meal prep
  • Transport - transport to appointments, shopping and community access
  • Social & Community participation: supporting individuals to engage with their community, build social connections, and participate in activities such as going for walks, attending events, or enjoying recreational outings
  • Hoisting

Applicants will require:

  • Relevant Industry experience working with clients who have a physical/spinal disability
  • Certificate III or IV in Individual Support; Disability, Aged care or similar
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Card and Blue card
  • Current First Aid & CPR Certificates
  • Current Manual Handling Certificate or willing to obtain
  • Medication Certificates/experience will be favourable
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Covid and Flu vaccinations are required
  • Good availability is essential

Candidates with High Care experience will be viewed favourably.
