About the Role

We're seeking empathetic and resilient Support Specialists to work with individuals experiencing complex mental health needs, challenging behaviours, and/or cognitive decline.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Personal care & domestic assistance
  • Community access & transport
  • Supporting person-centred plans
  • Documentation & progress notes
  • Building strong relationships with participants & families

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate within a supportive team
  • Promote independent living skills
  • Foster social connections
  • Deliver creative, compassionate support
  • Complete shift notes & incident reports
  • Provide direct support with daily living activities
  • Maintain positive relationships with stakeholders

What You'll Need

  • Minimum 6 months of disability support experience
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check or valid exemption
  • Current First Aid & CPR certification
  • Reliable vehicle (travel reimbursed)
  • Valid work visa or Australian citizenship/permanent residency

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • Medication administration training (or willingness to obtain)
  • Manual handling training (or willingness to obtain)
  • Strong work ethic & team spirit
  • Understanding of NDIS confidentiality & documentation standards
  • Flexibility for 24/7 care including weekends, sleepovers & active nights
  • Experience supporting neurodiverse and psychosocial disabilities
