Naval Base, Western Australia Atlas Precast Full time $60,000 - $80,000 per year

Atlas Precast is expanding its operations. We are seeking an Accountant to provide hands-on support to the Finance Manager with daily financial operations and compliance, while also developing their skills in analysis and business partnering.

This role will suit someone from a manufacturing and/or construction background, with strong transactional experience, who is either CA/CPA qualified (Accountant) or currently working towards qualification (Assistant Accountant).

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out day-to-day accounting tasks across payables, receivables, and journals.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of cash records.
  • Complete balance sheet reconciliations, identifying and resolving variances.
  • Manage intercompany recharges and allocations.
  • Prepare workings for BAS, GST, FBT, and corporate tax compliance.
  • Assist with the preparation of monthly management reports.
  • Support the Finance Manager with year-end audit tasks and liaising with external auditors.
  • Contribute to process improvements to streamline accounting and reporting.

About You

  • Background in manufacturing, construction, or related industries.
  • Strong transactional accounting skills with attention to detail.
  • Either CA/CPA qualified or actively working towards certification.
  • Keen to grow into analysis, reporting, and business partnering.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Sage, MYOB, Xero, or ERP systems).
  • Team player with strong communication skills.
