Document Controller

**About the Role**

**Austal **are seeking an experienced **Document Controller** to join our global ship-building company at Macedonia Street, Naval Base. The role is accountable to the **Configuration Management Lead** and will assist in the document control activities supporting Defence and Commercial projects. This is a great opportunity to be part of a fast-paced, knowledgeable PLM team.

**Key objectives & responsibilities**:

- Managing documents, data and records, ensuring only approved, current documentation is available for use throughout the organisation.
- Provide support to the CM Lead, as directed
- Key responsibilities include:

- Registering, upload and retrieval of technical data
- Distribution of technical data
- Compliance to company policies
- Promote compliance of document control governance and standards
- Provide administration services

**Required Skills / Experience / Attributes**:

- Previous experience in document control standards and processes
- Willingness to learn and complete professional training
- High level verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Enjoys working as part of a team and able to work autonomously
- MS Office skills
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise workload
