Lyppard Brisbane is seeking an experienced, hands-on Warehouse Manager with a passion for building and managing successful teams to join the team.

In this role you will be responsible for the management of the total warehouse operations including the assembly and co-ordination of the distribution of all customer orders and intra-company stock transfers, within the period allocated.

You will also manage the overall performance of the warehouse and delivery fleet needs covering efficient work practices, quality, safety and warehouse security, to ensure all orders are delivered in full and on time.

This is a key role in ensuring the smooth and safe distribution of veterinary pharmaceutical products across Queensland and New South Wales.

What you will do?

• Evaluate warehouse operations and team member performance, providing feedback, coaching for high performance and corrective actions as required;
• Coordinate labour and resources to meet operational demands;
• Focus on improving processes and team performance through use of performance data and industry best practice;
• Maintain employee satisfaction and engagement whilst driving performance and efficiency;
• Ensure systems and SOPs are in place and followed for product storage temperature requirements;
• Ensure documentation received and sent is accurate and correct;
• Understand internal/external customer expectations;
• Understanding product-shipping requirements;
• Maintain a safe and compliant working environment.

What we are looking for:

• Solid experience working within a warehouse logistics supervision or similar role;
• Strong leadership skills with past success in building, coaching, and motivating high performing teams;
• Financial acumen & expertise in contract negotiation;
• Strong organisational, multitasking and problem-solving skills;
• Experienced in warehouse operations and familiar with WH&S requirements;
• Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work under pressure
• Computer literate and ideally holds a forklift license (advantageous).
