What's the role.

  • Develop a weekly warehouse plan
  • Supervise day to day warehouse work to ensure plan is achieved
  • Ensure inventory integrity is maintained
  • Ensure appropriate labour and courier capacity is in place for next day requirements
  • Maximise utilisation of pallet racking and manage pallet control
  • Liaise with AQIS officers and staff contractors
  • Induction of casuals
  • Provide a safe work environment through training and coaching
  • Weekly HSE tool box meetings
  • Manage a small team
  • Performance manage staff including coaching and training
  • Promote a positive culture within the team.

About you.

  • With experience in a leadership warehouse role including developing a warehouse plan and supervising day to day activities
  • Leadership experience managing a warehouse team
  • Strong understanding of OH&S legislation
  • Excellent time management and communication skills
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office applications
  • Strong communications skills.
