Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-orientated and proactive Accounts / Back Office Support professional to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth financial operations and administrative support within our organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Record, process and reconcile invoices in a timely manner.
  • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
  • Maintain several reporting schedules accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Prepare and upload bank payments and reconcile to system.
  • Maintain accurate records of financial transactions.
  • Provide end-of-month and end-of-financial period support.
  • Handle general accounting tasks such as data entry and bookkeeping as directed.
  • Assist with administrative tasks including filing, correspondence and scheduling.
  • Work with other functions within the business in context of accounts, business analysis and financial matters.

Requirements:

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial record-keeping.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to work in a small team in a dynamic industry.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel (additional training available).

Advantageous Experience:

  • Proven experience in back office, accounts support or related roles.
  • Familiarity with accounting software and ERP systems (Xero).
  • Previous experience in a back off or administrative support role.

Reporting:

  • The role will report to the Accounts/Administration Manager.
