Role Overview

We are seeking a
Site Measure Technician
to join our team and play a crucial role in ensuring accurate staircase measurements for our projects. The ideal candidate will have a background in
construction or engineering
, strong attention to detail, and the ability to interpret architectural plans. This position requires site visits, precise measuring, and collaboration with designers and installers to ensure a seamless staircase installation process.

Key Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of the role are:

  • Travel to project sites to take precise measurements for staircase installations.
  • Read and interpret
    architectural plans
    and construction drawings.
  • Use measurement tools, including a tape measure, laser level & etc, accurately to ensure precise dimensions and layout.
  • Identify potential site challenges and provide recommendations.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and the internal design team.
  • Maintain accurate records of site visits and measurements.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company standards.

Skills & Experience Required

The ideal candidate would have:

  • Educational background in
    construction or engineering
    (required).
  • Valid
    driver's license
    (required).
  • Experience in construction, carpentry, or staircase installation is a plus.
  • Ability to
    read and interpret architectural plans
    and technical drawings.
  • Proficiency in using a
    tape measure correctly
    to take accurate site measurements.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable working on-site and traveling between locations.
  • Basic computer skills for documentation and communication.
