Workforce Specialist

Elderly Care is a leading aged care provider with approximately 2,400 dedicated employees across multiple facilities in Queensland and Victoria. Our mission is to deliver high-quality, person-centred care to our residents, ensuring dignity, respect, and compassion in every interaction.

We are currently seeking a driven and proactive individual to join us as our Workforce Specialist. Based at our Head Office and reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, this dynamic role demands exceptional communication skills and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders.

Major responsibilities of the role include but not limited to:

• In depth knowledge of roster scheduling for the Aged Care industry
• Experienced with a centralised rostering model
• Analyse workforce data and trends to forecast staffing needs and develop strategic workforce plans.
• High level skills working in excel
• Implement and manage scheduling systems to optimize staff allocation and meet operational requirements.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to workforce efficiency and productivity.
• Proactively identify solutions to meet workforce objectives.
• Prepare workforce reports including shift confirmations and coverage requirements.
