The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a rockstar Pricing Analyst to join our Risk – Credit & Pricing Team. Reporting to the Director of Key Initiatives & Analytics, the primary purpose of this role is to help deliver best-in-class pricing outcomes by balancing strategic, commercial and risk considerations. You'll also collaborate closely with the Director of Credit & Pricing Strategies in the development, implementation and monitoring of pricing strategies that drive growth and value creation. You'll play a key role in supporting and enhancing OnDeck's pricing framework — ensuring competitiveness, profitability and consistency.

Key responsibilities

Pricing Strategy & Analysis

• Analyse trends and market dynamics to identify pricing optimisation and improvement opportunities
• Support the development, testing and implementation of pricing strategies
• Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver pricing-related projects and initiatives
• Contribute to the design of pricing segmentation, discount frameworks and strategic pricing models.

Pricing Operations

• Manage and process deal-level and custom pricing requests, serving as the first point of contact and collaborating with Sales, Partnerships, and Executive Leadership
• Assess and vet pricing requests
• Compile and present pricing submissions for senior management approval and provide recommendations
• Report and analyse custom pricing outcomes to identify trends, support continuous improvement and enhance future decision-making
• Optimise pricing processes and recommend operational efficiency improvements to enhance accuracy and speed
• Evolve into a trusted advisor for competitive pricing guidance across Sales, Partnerships, and Executive teams.

About You

• Tertiary qualification in Finance, Economics, Business, Mathematics or a related field
• 1 year experience in a similar position
• A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and innovation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in Excel, SQL, or similar analytical tools
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable recommendations
• Good stakeholder management and communication skills, with the confidence to engage senior leadership
