People and Performance Coordinator

About this Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented People & Performance Coordinator to join our People & Performance team at our Corporate Head Office in Stapylton. This full-time role plays a key part in supporting HR operations by providing efficient and professional coordination across recruitment, onboarding, payroll support, learning & development, compliance, and employee engagement activities. You'll help keep our HR function running smoothly, enabling the broader team to focus on strategic priorities.
About the Role
As the People & Performance Coordinator, you'll be responsible for:
- Supporting recruitment activities, including job ads, interview scheduling, reference checks, contracts, and onboarding packs.
- Coordinating onboarding and offboarding processes, including documentation and exit interviews.
- Maintaining HRIS data, personnel files, and generating regular HR reports.
- Providing payroll support by checking timesheets, leave forms, and employee setup information.
- Assisting with learning & development activities, including training bookings, attendance tracking, and compliance follow-ups.
- Supporting HR policy and process updates, documentation, and communications.
- Tracking compliance requirements and assisting with internal and external audits.
- Coordinating engagement activities, wellness initiatives, and recognition programs.
- Managing the shared HR inbox, HR-related invoices, purchase orders, and general administration.
About You
To be successful in this role, you'll have:
- 1-3 years' experience in an HR Coordinator, Administrator, or similar role.
- Certificate IV or Diploma in Business Administration, HR, or a related discipline (preferred).
- Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Experience with HRIS or payroll systems (desirable).
- Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and time management.
- High level of discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a proactive, service-oriented mindset.
