Scheduler - Sydney or Melbourne
As a Scheduler at Silverchain, you will be responsible for the rostering and scheduling for clinical services to our diverse client population, ensuring the best match between client needs and our service delivery team's skills.

You'll act as the vital link between our clients and our in-field team, ensuring services are delivered efficiently, respectfully, and in line with expectations.

  • Full-time permanent role
  • Hybrid role – working from home, with some requirements to attend our shared space office located in Sydney or Melbourne.
  • Working for a non-profit organisation, you can salary package up to $18,500 tax free.

What We're Looking For

  • Demonstrated experience in rostering/scheduling/logistics methodology across multiple locations in a service delivery environment.
  • A strong phone manner and ability to remain calm and professional at all times.
  • Positive 'can-do' attitude and customer service focus.
  • Ability to problem solve and respond swiftly to last-minute changes.
  • Demonstrated experience with engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and juggle multiple priorities.
  • Previous experience with Skedulo or other rostering systems preferred.

As our hours of operation are 6am to 6pm Monday to Friday, candidates who can offer greater flexibility over this time range will be prioritised during the recruitment process.

The role
As a Scheduler you will:

  • Optimise and manage rosters in line with Award regulations and company rostering processes, ensuring the best match between client needs and worker skills.
  • Respond swiftly to last-minute changes, using problem-solving and influencing skills to minimise disruption.
  • Collaborate with key internal stakeholders to ensure alignment in scheduling outcomes.
  • Communicate directly with clients to confirm changes, resolve concerns, and maintain a strong customer service experience.
  • Use scheduling data and capacity planning tools to reduce non-billable hours, unnecessary travel, and support long-term efficiency.
