Overview

Our client, a leading architecture practice, is seeking an experienced Office Manager to join their Surry Hills office. This role offers the opportunity to be part of a nationally connected admin team with a strong sense of camaraderie, while playing a pivotal role in supporting the Sydney office's leadership and operations.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Provide HR administration support, including preparation and management of HR paperwork.

• Manage financial administration tasks such as invoicing, bank reconciliations, and interpreting financial documents.

• Oversee facilities management, coordinating with external providers when issues arise.

• Organise staff events, celebrations, and birthday gifts to foster team culture.

• Deliver light PA support to Director Ben, ensuring proactive organisation and forward planning.

• Support the wider admin team and contribute to national initiatives.

Skills and Experience

• Proven experience in office management, administration, or a similar role.

• Strong numerical and analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial documents.

• Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail.

• Experience in facilities coordination and vendor management.

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to provide constructive pushback when

needed.

• Proactive, and open-minded, with a collaborative approach to idea sharing.

• Comfortable supporting senior leadership with PA duties.

• Demonstrates initiative and creativity in problem-solving.

• Enjoys contributing to team culture and building positive relationships.

• Organised, forward-thinking, and adaptable to changing priorities
