We're seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Purchasing Officer to join our Procurement Team and play a vital role in supporting our mission. Reporting to the Head of Procurement, you'll be a key driver in maintaining efficient operations, meeting production needs, and exceeding expectations.

Responsibilities:

  • Release POs aligned with production demands and inventory requirements.
  • Provide accurate forecasts to suppliers, balancing immediate needs with long-term planning.
  • Assist in the setup of new items, ensuring clarity on MOQs, supplier processes, and price breaks.
  • Maintain and audit item master data, including safety stocks, MOQs, and lead times.
  • Manage non-conformance returns, escalating recurring issues as needed.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly procurement insights for internal stakeholders.
  • Track and report supplier KPIs, driving accountability and performance.

What We're Looking For:

  • 2+ years' experience in a purchasing or materials planning role, preferably within FMCG.
  • Strong understanding of MRP systems, item Master Data principles, and S&OP processes.
  • Technical knowledge of the end-to-end supply chain and procurement lifecycle.
  • A proactive mindset with a passion for solutions and continuous improvement.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build lasting relationships.
