Position Overview
Golden West Apprenticeships is seeking a dynamic and motivated Community Engagement and Recruitment Coordinator to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to blend recruitment and employment placement services with community engagement and outreach activities. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will play a key role in promoting apprenticeship and traineeship opportunities, building relationships with stakeholders, and representing Golden West Apprenticeships across various platforms.

Duties and Responsibilities
The full-time Community Engagement and Recruitment Coordinator will be responsible for:
- Delivering professional and quality recruitment services to job seeker candidates and clients.
- Promoting Golden West Apprenticeships to schools, career markets, community events, and other stakeholders to raise awareness about apprenticeships and traineeships.
- Conducting outreach activities to enhance the profile of Golden West Apprenticeships and identify new opportunities for collaboration.
- Building and maintaining effective relationships with key stakeholders, including schools, community partners, and host employers.
- Assisting in coordinating recruitment services, including screening candidates, conducting interviews, and matching job seekers with suitable vacancies.
- Engaging in community outreach activities to promote apprenticeship pathways and support workforce development.
Skills, Abilities, and Experience
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Demonstrated experience in marketing and promoting services to a wide range of stakeholders, particularly schools and community groups.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with internal and external clients.
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage administrative tasks efficiently.
- Experience or a willingness to develop skills in writing award nominations or other forms of professional writing.
- An understanding of Human Resource Management issues, including Workplace Health and Safety, Equal Employment Opportunity, Anti-Discrimination, Industrial Relations, and Privacy.
- A current driver's licence and willingness to travel for school visits, community events, and stakeholder meetings.
