Job Description:

  • Meet regularly with Room Leaders to ensure children's participation in the educational program.

  • Attend monthly Educational Leader Meetings for role guidance and networking with early education professionals.

  • Review and enhance current educational programs and documentation.

  • Collaborate with educators to refine educational programs, practices, and documentation, including assessments of children's learning and development.

  • Hold monthly meetings with Trainees to support their studies.

  • Work alongside educators to maintain effective planning, documenting, and evaluation cycles.

  • Ensure high-quality services in line with National Quality Standards and Government Regulations.

  • Take an active role in the Quality Improvement process.

  • Contribute to developing and refining educational policies, procedures, and pedagogical practices.

  • Work with the leadership team to develop, implement, and promote events, community initiatives, bush kinder, and incursion programs.

Qualifications:

  • ECT or Diploma in Early Childhood Education

  • Current Working with Children Check clearance

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Previous experience in an Educational Leader role or a willingness to learn

  • Strong knowledge of EYLF and NQS

  • Friendly and energetic personality

  • Passion for high-quality education and support for children

  • Commitment to building and maintaining partnerships with families and communities

  • Ability to model best practices in programming, compliance, and relationships with children

  • Experience with Xplor or similar systems is advantageous but not essential
