Job Title: Educational Leader - Secondary School

This is a challenging and rewarding role for an experienced educational leader to join our school community as the Head of Secondary Studies. We are seeking an exceptional individual who has a proven track record of leading teams and developing innovative teaching and learning programs.

About the Role

The successful applicant will lead and manage a team of teachers to implement whole-school strategic directions, policies, and initiatives. They will be responsible for promoting an inclusive learning environment that caters to the needs of diverse students and demonstrating capacity to collaboratively engage and inspire teachers to adopt innovative pedagogy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of teachers to develop and implement curriculum and assessment strategies.
  • Demonstrate capacity to collaborate with teachers to design and deliver high-quality teaching and learning programs.
  • Manage resources effectively and equitably to support teaching and learning.
  • Promote an inclusive learning environment that supports the needs of diverse students.
Selection Criteria
  1. Proven experience in educational leadership, including team management and professional development.
  2. Demonstrated expertise in curriculum, assessment, and student welfare, with ability to lead and design quality teaching and learning programs.
  3. Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships and engage students, staff, and parents.
  4. Educational qualifications relevant to secondary education, including Bachelor of Education or Master of Education.
Conditions

An unconditional full approval to teach is required. If you do not hold a full approval to teach, you must commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
