An exciting opportunity exists for a Graduate Project Engineer to join one of Sydney's largest Precast Concrete companies. In this role you will gain exposure to some of Australia's largest projects and quickly develop skills in project management, concrete detailing, design, advanced manufacturing processes, as well as a background to temporary works engineering. As a Graduate Project Engineer, you will be responsible for managing overall precast concrete projects ranging from high rise building structures to civil works.

This permanent full time role is located in Glendenning, Western Sydney, and reports directly to the Projects and Engineering Manager. The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate an ability to be pro-active, service focused and be able to interact with staff at all levels within the Company. Previous experience in project coordinating will be highly advantageous, as will experience working with external clients, engineers and architects.

To be successful in this role it is expected the applicant will be able to demonstrate:


• Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal


• Ability to review, interpret and verify detailed drawings


• Ability to review scope of works, negotiate contract agreements and work within them


• Understanding of concrete design fundamentals


• Organisation and scheduling skills


• An enthusiastic can do attitude


• Good problem solving skills


• Ability to work unsupervised


• Excellent computer skills
