We currently have two opportunities for talented and enthusiastic Graduate Engineers to join our team.
You will have the opportunity to combine professional and technical learning, on-the job learning alongside ongoing mentoring whilst working on real-world, innovative projects.
You will have the opportunity work on industrial automation projects from kick-off to hand over, including design documentation, PLC RTU and SCADA programming, factory acceptance testing, on-site commissioning and hand-over documentation.
About the roles:
Graduate Engineer (Job Ref: GE1)
This role will focus on electrical engineering, control systems and automation.
You will have the confidence and ability to liaise with management and internal teams to provide assistance with the technical delivery and execution of projects.
You will work within a supportive team environment alongside other junior and senior Engineers, providing project assistance to the Project Managers and Automation Technicians.
You will also assist Estimators with the development of proposals and tender bids.
Graduate Engineer (Job Ref: GE2)
Similar to the above role but with a focus on electrical design engineering.
This role will suit candidates with a passion for learning engineering concepts, practices and theories to design technical solutions.
You will embrace the use of CAD software to create and modify electrical drawings as required.
You will work closely with Drafters and Electrical Design Leads to support the broader engineering and project teams.
About you:
Be a recent graduate of an electrical engineering degree or relevant engineering degree eligible for state-based engineering registration.
Degree qualifications that heavily encompass control systems engineering will be individually assessed on their suitability for the role.
Demonstrate some knowledge of PLC, SCADA and HMI systems.
Understanding of electrical circuit fundamentals.
Have high computer competency, particularly with MS Office.
Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Be highly motivated, enthusiastic, proactive and resourceful with a great attitude.
Have a strong desire and interest to work within the automation industry.
