About the Role

As what we call a Rover you will be the first point of contact at our operations. This position is responsible for greeting our customer upon their arrival at our rental location. In this position you will assist with the check-in of the renter's vehicle and vehicle details.  

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Great customer in a friendly manner and help expedite the rental car return process to help get customers on their way.

  • Assess vehicle for any potential new damages and report it as per Avis Budget Group's vehicle damage procedure.

  • Review returned vehicle gas levels and car kilometres while accurately inputting them into our hand-held devices when needed.

  • Assist with the shuttling of vehicles when required.

What We're Looking For:

  • Full and valid Australian driver's licence

  • Availability to work a rotating roster (early mornings, evenings, weekends, public holidays)

  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions

  • Experience in physically demanding roles preferred

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures

Please note: This full-time role is not open to Working Holiday Visa or student visa holders.
