Educator

Position:Diploma Educator (with 2+ years' experience)

Hourly rate:$28.01 per hour, level 2.1 (VOTTEA Award)

Status: Part-Time fixed term position hours per week.

Tuesday 8am - 4.30pm, Thursday 8am - 4.30pm & Friday 10.15am - 1.30pm

Immediate start until the 26th of January, 2026 with the potential for ongoing.

Responsibilities: As a Diploma Educator, you will play a crucial role in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment. Your responsibilities will include:

• Building Relationships: Demonstrate an ability to develop strong and positive relationships with both children and their families.
• Cultural Competence: Work effectively with people and families from diverse backgrounds, ensuring an inclusive and welcoming atmosphere within the kindergarten.
• Team Collaboration: Exhibit the capability to work harmoniously in a team environment, fostering a supportive and collaborative atmosphere among colleagues.
• Child-Centric Approach: Provide warm and positive interactions with children, supporting their learning and development within the kindergarten environment.

What you'll bring

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education
• 2+ years' experience in Early Childhood (Sessional Kindergarten experience desirable)
• National Police Check no older than 6 months
• Current Working with Children Check for Victoria
