Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join us as a 2IC.

We have Both part time and Full time opportunities available and you must be able to work on a Monday You must have experience in a leadership role and a good command in english.

Responsibilities:

  1. Nurturing Care: Provide attentive, loving care to babies, ensuring their safety, health, and well-being at all times.
  2. Curriculum Implementation: Develop and implement age-appropriate activities and learning experiences that support the developmental needs of infants.
  3. Observation and Documentation: Regularly observe and document the development and progress of each child, communicating findings with parents and the educational team.
  4. Parent Communication: Maintain open, positive communication with parents, providing updates on their child's development and addressing any concerns.
  5. Team Collaboration: Work closely with other educators to create a harmonious and supportive learning environment.
  6. Health and Safety Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including maintaining a clean and organized classroom.
  7. Individualized Attention: Tailor care and educational approaches to meet the unique needs and interests of each baby in your care.
  8. Professional Conduct: Uphold the values and policies of Stepping Stones Academy, demonstrating professionalism in all interactions.
  9. Leadership and management - Your role will be to show leadership and management on the floor and direct your team to achieve Quality of Care

Qualifications

  1. You must be working towards or have obtained a qualification in Childcare
  2. You must have a Valid First Aid
  3. You must have a current Working with Children's Check.
  4. You must have experience with babies and young children under the age of 5
  5. You must have leadership and management experience of at least 1 year

If you do not have any experience or a strong command in English please do not apply. This role is for experienced confident 2IC only
