We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Compliance Specialist to play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing our aviation compliance frameworks. This position is responsible for overseeing operational compliance processes, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of critical documentation, and supporting adherence to CASA, ICAO, and internal safety standards. This role reports to the Safety and Quality Manager and collaborates with the team's Safety and Quality Specialists to ensure regulatory compliance, drive continuous improvement, and uphold operational excellence throughout the organisation.

What You'll Do:

  • Maintain, update, and oversee all operational manuals, policies, and documentation to ensure accuracy and integrity.
  • Ensure compliance with CASA, ICAO, and internal regulatory and safety requirements.
  • Implement and manage document control systems, including version management, distribution protocols, and document integrity.
  • Monitor regulatory changes, analyse their impact, and translate updates into policy, system, and process improvements.
  • Support and track audit actions, compliance initiatives, corrective measures, and internal reviews.
  • Prepare compliance dashboards, reports, and briefings to provide operational oversight and inform leadership decision-making.
  • Contribute to hazard identification, risk assessments, and safety investigations.
  • Champion continuous improvement in compliance processes, documentation, reporting, and internal communications.
  • Assist in delivering compliance briefings, training, and stakeholder communications to ensure awareness of regulatory obligations and operational changes.

What You'll Bring:

  • Experience in compliance, document control, or safety/quality assurance in aviation or other highly regulated industries.
  • Strong knowledge of aviation safety regulations and compliance frameworks.
  • Proven ability to manage operational documentation, ensuring accuracy and regulatory alignment.
  • Ability to interpret and apply complex regulatory requirements in operational settings.
  • Excellent organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Proactive approach to compliance, safety, and continuous improvement.
  • Experience with SMS/QMS/IMS systems, audit processes, and version control software.
  • Hold a qualification in aviation, safety, compliance, or documentation management.
