How you can help make a better world of work

We are looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our newly formed Realtime Analytics Platform Team. We sit within the Data Intelligence Camp and are responsible for developing an internal platform capability that enables all product teams across Culture Amp to build excellent analytics and reporting products by connecting data from across our platforms. We're in the early days of a long term project critical to the success of the business.

You will 

  • Design, build and manage the infrastructure for our realtime analytics platform. 
  • Ensure the platform is reliable, secure and performant. 
  • Collaborate regularly with customers of the platform to understand their needs and design suitable solutions. 
  • Iterate on the platform design as we evolve towards a self-service capability. 
  • Coach and mentor those around you to uplift our shared skills and capabilities. 
  • Set and elevate standards for quality on the team. 

You have 

  • Proven experience with infrastructure-as-code; Terraform is essential, CDKTF and Typescript are ideal. 
  • Experience in cloud environments; AWS preferred. 
  • Strong familiarity with operational practices and systems (e.g. Observability, Security, CI/CD, Configuration management, etc.)
  • Previous experience with data systems and platforms is a big plus (we're building on Clickhouse, knowledge of warehouses and pipelines will be helpful.)
  • A drive to learn and hone your engineering craft and to help others do the same.

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently, comfortable dealing with ambiguity when necessary. You take the initiative to ensure that you have everything you need to work effectively and ask for support when required.
  • A driver of technical excellence in a team environment. You're an expert in your domain and are able to develop the expertise and knowledge of those around you.
