We have an exciting opportunity for a proactive and organised professional to join the Vehicle Logistics team as a
Vehicle Logistics Quality Coordinator
. This role is central to ensuring vehicle quality standards are met from port to dealer delivery by managing transport damage claims, coordinating repair workflows, supporting marine insurance submissions, and maintaining high data integrity across multiple systems.
In this position, you'll work closely with external partners like PrixCar, CCG, and shipping lines, while supporting internal stakeholders across finance, supply chain, and quality teams. You'll play a key role in optimising logistics quality processes and ensuring every vehicle meets Volkswagen's rigorous standards before it reaches our customers.
Your Main Responsibilities Will Include
- Submit and manage marine insurance claims through the Volkswagen Insurance Broker platform, analysing trends and escalating recurring issues
- Coordinate marine transport damage claims, including file management, negotiation with shipping lines, and resolution tracking
- Liaise with PrixCar and CCG to ensure timely repair approvals, damage reporting, and repair execution
- Track and report on yard and transport-related damages, including performance accountability, cost recovery, and escalation letters
- Manage and update vehicle quality data across key systems, including Qlik Sense and Nadin
- Oversee invoice validation and support expense tracking in the Coupa platform, raising POs and processing claims as required
- Assist in preparing and distributing checklists, survey reports, and compliance documents to internal teams and dealer portals
- Support internal vehicle accessibility updates, stock reporting, and import operations as a backup resource
- Collaborate with the broader Vehicle Logistics department to enhance reporting, optimise processes, and ensure accurate stakeholder communication
About You
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following:
- Certificate-level qualification in Logistics or similar (desirable)
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships across internal and external stakeholders
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and time management
- Sound problem-solving skills with an operational and data-driven focus
- Familiarity with systems such as Coupa, Qlik Sense, and Excel for tracking and reporting purposes
- A customer service mindset and a team-first attitude
- University graduates in Business, IT and engineering are encouraged to apply
