Fleet Scheduler Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Fleet Scheduler to join our team at Ampol. In this role, you will be responsible for scheduling and optimizing our heavy vehicle fleet to meet customer demands while adhering to relevant NHVR regulations.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in fleet scheduling, with a strong understanding of heavy vehicle transport operations and logistics. They will possess excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, as well as the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Schedule all fleet movements and customer deliveries across the Sydney Region.
  • Oversee the fleet operation 24/7 and be on call to respond to incidents.
  • Monitor customer demand and product inventories.
  • Develop and issue load plans and delivery advice.
  • Commercial responsibility for fleet productivity performance.
  • Schedule fleet repairs and maintenance activities.
  • Ensure statutory compliance with relevant industry standards and legislation.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a fleet scheduler within the Transport Heavy Vehicle industry.
  • BFM Accreditation TLIF0006 (Administer a fatigue risk management system).
  • Well-developed communication (verbal and written) and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in Petroleum, Chemicals, Dangerous Goods or Hazardous industries is desirable.
