Greenlight Worldwide is looking for a Solutions Architect (Engineering-Focused) to join a dynamic technology team on a full-time basis. This role will design, deliver, and optimise scalable, secure, and efficient solutions that support business and digital transformation goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement high-performing end-to-end technology solutions that align with business, technical, and security requirements.
  • Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to define architecture direction and ensure alignment with enterprise principles.
  • Provide hands-on technical leadership throughout solution design, development, and implementation.
  • Evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies, tools, and frameworks to meet project and organisational needs.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable, and efficient technical designs.
  • Lead technical discussions, architecture reviews, and design workshops across multiple projects.
  • Champion engineering excellence, coding best practices, and architectural integrity.
  • Produce and maintain high-quality architecture documentation, diagrams, and solution blueprints.
  • Advise engineering teams on cloud, integration, and infrastructure best practices.
  • Mentor and guide technical teams to enhance capability and deliver innovative solutions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 6 years' experience in technical architecture or senior engineering roles.
  • Strong engineering background in software, systems, or cloud engineering.
  • Proven experience designing and delivering enterprise-grade technology solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and infrastructure-as-code
  • Proficiency in modern programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#.
  • Experience with microservices, APIs, event-driven architectures, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Understanding of security, scalability, and performance optimisation
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.

Desirable:

  • Previous experience as a Solutions Architect or Technical Lead.
  • Certifications in AWS, Azure, or GCP architecture; TOGAF certification.
  • Experience with data lifecycle management and data warehousing technologies.
  • Familiarity with containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of DevOps and SRE principles.
  • Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
