Water Treatment Service Technician

The Opportunity

Due to expansion in our Service Division, we're seeking an experienced Water Treatment Technician to join our Victorian team. We welcome applications from experienced professionals as well as motivated individuals eager to develop their career in water treatment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform on-site breakdown services, repairs, and maintenance of water treatment equipment
  • Install and commission new treatment systems both on-site and in-house
  • Conduct water quality testing and adjust chemical dosing levels
  • Maintain detailed service records and compliance documentation
  • Interface directly with clients and prepare comprehensive service reports
  • Identify and resolve performance issues proactively
  • Contribute to equipment condition assessments and asset reporting
  • Recommend and implement process improvements

  • Ultra Violet Sterilisation
  • Cartridge Filtration
  • Water and Wastewater Pumping Stations
  • Trade Waste Plants (DAF)
  • Water Management Systems

Requirements

Essential

  • Valid driver's license
  • Strong troubleshooting abilities
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Computer literacy (MS Office, Aroflo or similar)
  • COVID-19 vaccination (minimum 2 doses) and current flu vaccination
  • Willingness to work overtime and participate in on-call roster
  • Ability to travel to regional areas and interstate

Highly Desirable

  • Field service experience in water treatment
  • Relevant qualifications or certificates
  • Plumbing trade background
  • A class electrical license
  • Cooling tower experience
  • Trade Background
