Join our team as a Youth Engagement Officer
Our Youth Services team is passionate about supporting, empowering, and connecting young people aged 12–25 who live, work or study in Kingston.
About The Role
We are looking for a Youth Engagement Officer to join our team. In this role, you will support the delivery of high-quality programs, events and activities that respond to the needs of young people and families in our community. You'll also play a vital role in creating safe, inclusive and engaging spaces where young people can thrive.
What You'll Deliver
- Assist and at times lead the delivery of programs, workshops and school-based activities.
- Provide information, referrals and customer service to young people and families.
- Contribute to the planning and operation of Youth Services, including reports and administration.
- Foster young people's independence, confidence and decision-making skills.
Your Skills And Experience
- Experience working with young people in group or program settings.
- Strong facilitation, communication and engagement skills.
- Currently completing or holding a qualification in youth work (or related field).
- Current Level 2 First Aid (or willingness to obtain).
