Are you passionate about fostering a positive workplace culture and driving employee engagement? Our Tip Top Dry Creek site is looking for a dynamic Production Supervisor to join our team and lead by example. Reporting to the Production Manager this role will coach and develop the team to deliver production targets in a safe and efficient manner.
Purpose of the Role
- Responsible for leading the production team to ensure efficient, successful and safe operation of product and minimisation of waste
- Build a culture where people act like owners to deliver business goals
- Consistently provide open and honest, candid feedback 'in the moment', recognising people for doing great work, and addressing performance issues early
- Manage clear expectations for the team, provide appropriate resources and tools to get the job done, along with high support and high challenge
- Identify and actively promote continuous improvement to product, processes and systems within any facet of the work environment
- Collaborate with the supply, maintenance, and planning teams to improve productivity and make necessary amendments to the production plan
- Ensure strict food safety, legality and quality requirements are adhered to
- Support change and foster an environment where change is embraced
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Min 2+ years in a Supervisory or leadership role
- Food Manufacturing or other fast paced production/manufacturing experience would be highly regarded
- Proven leadership skills
- Extensive problem-solving skills - experience with root cause analysis
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and influence key stakeholders
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing processes and principles
