We're looking for a fit and strong cut to size specialist to join the team to plan, manage and execute all our cut to size plastics operations. From fulfilling cut to size online and in-store orders to cutting sheets to size for further processing by the rest of the team and other machinery. Most of this work is done using our state of the art german made Altendorf WA80 sliding table saw/panel saw, with automatic blade tilt/elevation and rip fence adjustment.

Qualifications & experience

  • Experience with any Panel Saw/Sliding Table Saw
  • Drivers Licence
  • Forklift licence is a bonus but not essential
  • Experience working with plastics and plastic fabrication highly regarded

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Plan best use of available offcuts and sheet sizes to fill cut to size orders and needs.
  • Operate various machinery, but primarily a silding table saw to fill cut to size orders.
  • Manage organisation of offcuts and stock movement into storage bins and locations
  • Occasionally assist with packaging, deliveries and pick ups
  • Cross-skilling into other areas of the trade
