ATEC Group Training is currently seeking Data & Voice Communication Apprentices for immediate start across Adelaide

This is a fantastic opportunity to kickstart your career in the communications industry with hands-on work in a high-performing team, while completing a nationally recognised qualification.


About the Role

As a Data & Voice Communications Apprentice, you will be employed full-time and complete your off-the-job training through TAFE SA to gain industry competencies.

You will be placed with an experienced host employer working on end-to-end fibre network projects, with duties including:

  • Hauling, splicing, terminating, and testing optical fibre cables
  • Installing communications racks and equipment
  • Preparing sites and infrastructure for data cabling
  • Terminating, testing, and certifying cable performance
  • Working with optical fibre, coaxial, and multipair cables
  • Diagnosing and repairing faults across data and voice systems

To be considered, you must:
  • Hold a current Driver's Licence and have reliable transport
  • Possess a White Card or be willing to obtain one
  • Be physically fit, energetic, and safety conscious
  • Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic
  • Be a team player with a willingness to learn
