Apex is a South Australian family-owned business which currently employs over 60 people from our Head Office in Melrose Park. Incorporated in 2004, Our core business activities include construction and maintenance of Optical fibre, Wireless and Copper networks.

We are currently seeking Two (2) reliable and experienced Traffic Controllers to join our growing team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement safe and effective traffic control measures at work sites.
  • Create detailed traffic management plans for various projects.
  • Lodge permit applications with DIT (Department for Infrastructure and Transport)
  • Monitor and manage permit compliance and renewals.
  • Conduct site assessments and risk evaluations.
  • Coordinate with project teams and contractors.
  • Ensure all traffic control activities comply with Australian Standards and SA regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Work Zone Traffic Management (WZTM) certification with TC-1 & TMI-1 C.
  • Experience with creating Traffic Management Plans & submitting road permits for approval (ie TMD-1)
  • White Card (Construction Induction Card).
  • First Aid certification.
  • Current Driver's License.
  • Previous experience in telecommunications, utilities, or construction industries.
  • Immediate Start for the right person.
