About The Role
The primary purpose of this role is to conduct quality assurance and compliance reviews to identify and mitigate non-compliance issues for the Government Services business. This is to ensure alignment with internal protocols, external industry policies, laws, and government regulations, and to maintain adherence to business contracts.

  • Establish strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, increasing awareness of compliance, controls, and assurance management to ensure business operations align with contracts, laws, regulations, professional standards, accepted business practices, and internal protocols.
  • Conduct compliance and quality assurance reviews as outlined by the Quality Assurance Framework, business contracts, regulators, and Allianz assurance frameworks.
  • Coordinate and support the development and implementation of continuous improvement, contingency, and action plans to address current/emerging issues in compliance and assurance.
  • Support the development and delivery of reporting for the business and Senior Management Team to monitor quality assurance and compliance performance, aiming to increase business capability and improve outcomes.
  • Assist business leaders in reviewing, designing, and updating internal procedures to mitigate the risk of contractual or legislative breaches.
  • Lead the coordination, development, and delivery of training and information sessions to communicate Allianz Australia's ethical principles, contract compliance requirements, key legislation, and regulatory updates.
  • Ensure sound internal controls and procedures are in place and monitor adherence, systematically reviewing and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Lead and coach team members and business teams to develop capability, and build high-performing, collaborative, and engaged teams.

About You

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and industry accreditation as required.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in Personal Injury in an SME-based role.
  • Extensive knowledge of relevant Commonwealth, State, and/or Territory legislative and regulatory frameworks relevant to Government Services.
  • Proven experience developing and leading strategic initiatives aligned with organisational goals.
  • Comprehensive understanding of compliance and regulatory obligations impacting the relevant business area.
  • Demonstrated technical proficiency in systems, software, databases, reporting, communication, and analytical tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of influencing and engaging at all levels.
  • Ability to translate strategic vision into action, collaborating with multiple teams to align departmental and organisational objectives.
  • Strong planning and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage competing demands and resources.
  • A passion for leveraging emerging technologies to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
