What You'll Do Daily
Test Execution & Maintenance
- Execute automated test suites and analyse results
- Maintain and update existing test scripts based on application changes
- Create new automated test cases following established frameworks and patterns
- Report and track defects through resolution
- Perform regression testing and smoke testing
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
Development Support
- Develop automated tests using provided frameworks (Selenium/Playwright/Cypress)
- Follow coding standards and test design patterns set by senior team members
- Participate in test planning sessions and provide execution estimates
- Document test results and maintain test documentation
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements
Required Skills & Experience
Must Have:
- 2-4 years automation testing experience
- Proficiency in automation testing tools (Selenium, Playwright, WebdriverIO, Cypress, or similar)
- Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or JavaScript
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub, Bamboo, or Azure DevOps)
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git)
- Experience in test case design and execution
- Basic understanding of API testing and mobile application testing
Nice to Have:
- Experience with BDD/TDD methodologies and tools like Cucumber
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- API testing experience (REST/SOAP)
- Mobile testing experience
- Exposure to AI development tools and testing AI-powered applications
- Experience with AI-assisted testing tools (test case generation, intelligent test maintenance)
- Performance testing experience
