About the Role

As Service Manager at Beerwah OSHC, you will:

  • Lead a team of passionate educators delivering engaging before/after school and vacation care programmes
  • Shape a safe, inclusive, and fun environment where children thrive and families feel supported
  • Build strong partnerships with families, school leadership, and the wider Beerwah community
  • Oversee compliance, budgets, and daily operations to ensure a smooth-running, high-quality service
  • Create programmes that inspire curiosity, creativity, and connection

About You

You are an experienced leader in childcare or education who:

  • Thrives on making a positive difference in children's lives
  • Uses creativity and initiative to design engaging, inclusive programmes
  • Inspires and supports your team, fostering a workplace where staff feel valued and children flourish
  • Communicates confidently and builds positive relationships with families, school staff, and the community
  • Ensures compliance with regulations and standards while managing budgets and resources effectively

Qualifications

We're looking for applicants with any of the following (or studying towards):

  • Completed Diploma in Outside School Hours Care or Early Childhood Education and Care
  • 2-year full time equivalent in studying any of the following qualifications: Primary, Secondary or Special Education, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Diversional Therapy, Speech Pathology, Creative Arts, Fine Arts, Drama, Music, Sport and Recreational
  • Current Blue Card, First Aid & CPR or willing to obtain
  • Completed CHCPRT025, CHCPRT001, CHCPRT026, CHCPRT002 and CHCECE057 training
  • Previous experience working with diverse communities is an asset
