We are now looking for a Site Trainer to join our Health and Safety team at Dalgaranga. This is a newly created role where you will help lift training compliance, run Verification of Competency assessments and coordinate both onsite and offsite training across the operation.

The Opportunity

In this role you will

  • Organise and coordinate all training onsite including inductions, refresher courses and mobile plant training
  • Liaise with RTOs and arrange delivery of courses for Working at Heights, Confined Spaces, CPR and other mandatory requirements
  • Complete VOCs for LF, LV, excavators, water carts and other mobile plant where required
  • Maintain and update the training matrix using INX Intuition and Excel
  • Identify and close training gaps to ensure the site maintains strong compliance levels
  • Work closely with department leaders to ensure people are booked, trained and signed off correctly
  • Support new contractors by checking all required training is completed prior to mobilisation

This role is more coordination than delivery. You will be the person who keeps everything moving, organised and compliant while supporting the wider operational teams.

What Success Looks Like

  • Training matrix lifted to 80 to 100 percent compliance
  • Smooth first day and refresher training for all personnel
  • Accurate training records and clean data in INX
  • Well coordinated training schedules with minimal follow-up required
  • Strong relationships across site and with external training providers

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring

  • Cert IV Training and Assessment
  • Experience in mining or heavy industry
  • Solid understanding of mobile plant
  • Working at Heights and Confined Spaces
  • LF forklift licence
  • EWP ticket preferred
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Confidence using INX Intuition and intermediate Excel skills
  • A proactive and friendly approach with the ability to keep people accountable

Roster and Conditions

  • FIFO ex Perth
  • 4 days on, 3 days off
  • Six month contract with the potential to move into a permanent position
