Rex Paine Timber and Hardware is a local, family owned and run business. Located in the leafy suburb of Watsonia, north of Melbourne.

We currently have an opening for a Timber Yard person to join our small, friendly team. If you're interested in some weekly and Saturday shifts while you study or want to just work part-time our role could be for you.

Duties will include:

- Customer service
- Picking orders
- Stock replenishment
- Measuring timber for customers
- Driving a small truck delivering materials hand unloading
- General yard duties as required

To be successful in the role, you will need:

- An unrestricted drivers license
- Strong customer service skills and enthusiasm to learn everyday
- A can-do attitude
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong numeracy skills
- To be able to write customer dockets
- To be able to work unsupervised

**Must be available Thursdays, Saturdays and some weekday shifts available also.**
Due to the nature of our business, there will be heavy lifting required of the person in this role daily.

Wages will be paid commensurate with age and experience.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 20 per week
