Westgold Resources is seeking a talented Database Administrator to support our Exploration and Operations teams by managing and maintaining high-quality geological databases.

This 12-month fixed-term contract is based in our centrally located Perth Head Office on St George's Terrace and offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced geologists on meaningful projects across drilling and geochemistry data.

We're open to part-time arrangements (3–4 days per week) and flexible working hours, and warmly encourage applications from geological database administrators / qualified geologists looking to re-enter the workforce or transition into a more adaptable role.

• Partnering with geologists to validate and maintain accurate geological data
• Monitoring data entry from remote sites and providing regular validation updates
• Resolving data discrepancies in collaboration with end users and the Database Manager
• Supporting the day-to-day maintenance of geological databases
• Delivering user support and training across the business
• Managing user accounts, permissions, and access rights

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a mining and/or exploration environment
• Strong grasp of data validation and resource geology requirements
• Excellent analytical, numerical, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
• Experience with geological database tools such as DataShed, LogChief, QAQCr, MS-SQL
• Bonus skills: Power BI, QA/QC knowledge, and a relevant degree in Geology, Geoscience, Earth Science, IT, or Data Science
