We have an exciting opportunity for an Applications Business Analyst (junior level) to support the digital services team with projects and application support to achieve successful project outcomes.

The ideal candidate will be an expert communicator, strong problem solver, and critical thinker. This person should also be committed to the discovery and development of innovative solutions in an ever-changing digital landscape.

A Junior Business Analyst's week can include:

  • Work with stakeholders across the business to document quality technical and functional requirements for IT projects
  • Communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders including internal IT, business units, managerial and executive teams
  • Develop meaningful and lasting relationships with stakeholders for optimized systems design and respond to questions and concerns from staff
  • Translate complex business processes into key deliverables
  • Support quality assurance and user acceptance testing
  • Provide exceptional customer service in both support and projects

About You:

  • Tertiary qualification in Business and/or IT
  • Min. of 3 years' experience working as an analyst for IT projects
  • Background in technical support and customer service
  • (Preferred) Understanding of IT security and some exposure to federal government IT security requirements eg. Right Fit for Risk
  • (Preferred) Experience in wireframes and process mapping software
  • (Preferred) Experience with Microsoft suite (SharePoint, Teams, Dynamics CRM)

Have a current Working with Children Check or willing to obtain a Working with Children Check before employment

Ability to work Monday to Friday - 8:30am to 5:00pm
