THE OPPORTUNITY

Are you an Oral Health Therapist looking to join a leading private practice in Balwyn? This is a beautiful, high-end clinic known for its exceptional patient care and comprehensive approach to oral health.

This is an outstanding opportunity for someone passionate about hygiene, periodontal care, prevention, education and holistic patient wellbeing, including nutritional and lifestyle-related aspects of oral health.

You'll be stepping into a practice where OHTs are not just valued – they're integral to the patient journey.

You'll partner closely with Dentists and the wider team to play a key clinical role in improving long-term patient outcomes through hygiene, perio management, prevention, and education.

There is scope to do some restorative work, of course, but the ideal person genuinely enjoys hygiene and perio, is passionate about educating patients, building relationships, and taking a preventative, wellness-focused approach to care. You'll also be supported in upskilling in cosmetic, whitening, Invisalign and fixed orthodontics, offering long-term development and variety.

You'll be joining a collaborative, high-performing team led by a Principal Dentist who prioritises growth, innovation and mentorship.

  • Flexible start – 3, 4 or 5 days per week
  • $55–75/hr, depending on your experience
  • Expand your skills into cosmetic, whitening, Invisalign, fixed orthodontics while providing education and care for patient oral health and overall wellbeing

ABOUT YOU

  • You are an AHPRA-registered OHT or Hygienist (unrestricted) with current indemnity insurance
  • You have a strong interest in hygiene, perio, education, and preventative care
  • You're passionate about looking after patients' long-term oral and overall health
  • You value building relationships and educating patients about their dental and nutritional health
  • You're a great communicator and a warm, calming presence chairside
  • You enjoy being part of a collaborative, progressive, and growth-focused team
  • You're open to learning and growing, with opportunities in cosmetic dentistry, ortho, whitening, and beyond
