La Vela Head Spa is seeking a passionate and professional Massage or Spa Therapist to join our tranquil and elegant spa locations in Brisbane and Palm Beach. We specialise in premium head spa services that support skin and scalp health, hair wellness, and deep, restorative relaxation.


About the Role

You'll provide holistic treatments that nourish the scalp, skin, body, and soul. Based on your expertise, you may also offer complementary services such as facial massage, aromatherapy, or full-body massage. Full training in scalp care and Japanese head spa techniques will be provided.


Key Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality massage and/or body treatments
  • Deliver calming, results-driven head spa services
  • Create a serene and welcoming environment for every client
  • Educate clients on scalp and hair aftercare (training provided)
  • Maintain a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness
  • Prepare and apply natural, organic products
  • Work as part of a supportive and caring team

What We're Looking For
  • 1–2 years' experience in massage, beauty, or holistic therapy
  • Certificate III/IV or Diploma in Massage or Beauty Therapy (preferred)
  • Knowledge of anatomy, pressure points, and relaxation techniques
  • Excellent communication, empathy, and client service skills
  • Calm, professional, and nurturing personality
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Strong commitment to cleanliness and client care
  • Bonus: Experience in pregnancy massage, facials, or natural therapies
